Summer Update 2009

We had a busy summer this year, blessed be the Lord!
PERFORMANCES
We had a Friday and Saturday night performance in July at the Wesleyan Church in Bramwell, the small town that Steve and Charlotte Newcomb live in and the home of our former agency. It was a great opportunity for many of the friends we have made in this wonderful town to see and participate in our ministry. After each performance, we provided some fun entertainment at the Corner Shop, an old fashion soda fountain. Entertainment included the old Abbot and Costello Who's On First routine. You can see some clips here on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_A5X-MVuB0
Later in July, we provided drama for a joint VBS with Westminster and First Christian Churches in Bluefield WV. Clips are available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoYt7ruiD7o&feature=player_embedded
VIDEO PROJECT FOR THE LAST SUPPER
Many people have been requesting a dvd of our LAST SUPPER drama so we spent two days (and long nights) video taping our production. We are so grateful to Jason and Jeff from Heaven Sent Ministries (www.hsminc.org) in nearby Princeton WV. The project is in post-production and will hopefully be available by Christmas.
CD PROJECT FOR THE LAST SUPPER
We have completed a cd of music and narration from THE LAST SUPPER. Steve Newcomb completely revised our accompaniment tracs using Mixcraft. You can place an order for the cd at this link on our website: http://hmmmt.synthasite.com/the-last-supper-cd.php
AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER PERFORMANCES
We performed HIS STORY at East River Church in Bluefiled VA followed by 3 performances at Mayodan Baptist Church in NC. We were doubly blessed at this church. After our Saturday night performance, an entire family came forward to join this church. After the second Sunday morning performance, a 78 year old woman came forward to accept Christ! There was much rejoicing by the congregation.
Later that same day, we received a call from a woman who attended the morning service. She called to tell us she wanted to donate a van to our ministry! We are now traveling in a 1994 Dodge conversion van which is providing lots of room for the six of us!
Our last performance of the summer, before leaving on our West Coast Tour was in nearby Princeton WV at Fellowship Baptist Church. This church is pastored by Lyle Mullins, the head of Heaven Sent Ministries. Many hearts were touched during this service..
We consistently hear from the men and women who join our cast how much they learned from participating in our dramas. We are grateful that what we do helps draw these men, women and children closer to our Savior.
CHRISTMAS
Steves Newcomb and Short have started writing new music and scripts for a Christmas production which will be called PERSPECTIVES OF CHRISTMAS. Stay tuned. If you are in the Vero Beach FL area, we will be performing in that area in early December.
